Return & Refund Policy
General Statement
Every item in my shop is crafted in small batches with care, intention, and integrity. Because of the nature of handcrafted and body‑care goods, this policy exists to protect both you as the customer and me as the maker. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Return Eligibility
To maintain product safety and quality standards, returns are limited to the following circumstances:
- Damaged or defective items: If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or otherwise compromised, notify me within 3 calendar days of delivery. Photographs of the issue are required for documentation.
- Incorrect items: If you receive an item you did not order, contact me within 3 calendar days so I can correct the error.
Due to the personal and consumable nature of my products, returns cannot be accepted for: - Opened or used items
- Body‑care products (for health and safety reasons)
- Custom, made‑to‑order, or personalized items
- Seasonal, limited‑release, or clearance items
These restrictions are standard for small‑batch apothecary and artisan goods.
Refunds & Remedies
Once your claim is reviewed and approved, one of the following remedies will be issued: - A replacement item, when available
- A store credit for the value of the item
- A refund to the original payment method, when appropriate
Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after approval. I reserve the right to determine the most appropriate remedy based on the situation.
Return Shipping - If the issue is the result of my error or a damaged shipment, I will cover return shipping or waive the need to return the item.
- If a return is approved for any reason outside of the above, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase, provided the order has not yet shipped or entered the preparation stage.
How to File a Claim
To begin a return or report an issue, email charlotte@chunlimitedventures.com with: - Your full name
- Order number
- Clear photos of any damage (if applicable)
- A brief description of the concern
- I respond promptly and handle each situation with fairness and respect.
Handcrafted Variations
Please note that natural variations in color, texture, or appearance are inherent to handcrafted goods and are not considered defects. These variations reflect the authenticity of small‑batch work.
Shipping Policy
Processing Times
All items are handcrafted in small batches. Because of this, processing times may vary slightly based on inventory and production schedules.
- Standard processing time: 2–4 business days
- Seasonal or high‑volume periods: 5–7 business days
- Custom or made‑to‑order items may require additional time, which will be noted in the product description.
Processing time refers to the time it takes to prepare your order before it ships.
Shipping Methods & Delivery
Orders are shipped through trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx. The carrier and service level are selected based on the safest and most cost‑effective option for your order. - Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.
- Once a package is accepted by the carrier, transit delays are outside my control.
- Tracking information will be emailed to you once your order ships.
Incorrect Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout. - If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer is responsible for reshipment costs.
- If the order has not yet shipped, contact me immediately to correct the address.
Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages
Once a package is marked Delivered by the carrier, it is considered fulfilled.
If your package is lost or delayed in transit: - Contact me at charlotte@chunlimitedventures.com so I can assist you in opening a claim with the carrier.
- Replacement or refund decisions are made on a case‑by‑case basis, depending on the carrier’s findings.
Stolen packages cannot be refunded, but I will help guide you through the carrier’s claim process.
Damaged Shipments - If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or otherwise compromised:
- Notify me within 3 calendar days of delivery
- Provide clear photos of the damage
- Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved
- Approved claims may result in a replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on availability.
Local Pickup
If local pickup becomes available, instructions will be provided at checkout. Pickup orders must be collected within the stated timeframe.
International Shipping
At this time, I ship within the United States only. If international shipping becomes available, this policy will be updated accordingly.
